Jacaranda Cycling Festival: CRITERIUM. Junction Hill Criterium Track

1. I understand, acknowledge and accept that cycling is an inherently dangerous sport, which may result in serious injury or death from a collision, fall, mechanical failure, physical exertion or other incident. 

2. I voluntarily participate in this event at my own risk. 

3. I waive any rights I may otherwise have against AusCycling, the event promoter and their agents and representatives relating to, and agree they are not responsible for, any loss or damage resulting from my participation in the event, including any loss that may arise from death or injury to myself or others, or damage to any property. 

4. I agree to follow the directions of any event organiser or official and the AusCycling Technical Regulations, a copy of which is available on the AusCycling website. 

5. If the participant in this event is under 18 years of age, I warrant that I am a parent or guardian of the participant and agree for myself and the participant that I provide the acknowledgements, agreements and waiver set out above in respect of the participant.

Criterium Racing rules apply including:

ENTRIES CLOSE 8pm 31/10/2025

- spare wheel pit area in the centre of the circuit near the start/finish line. Only those who provide spare wheels are able to access wheels

- one lap out for genuine mechanical/accident (dropped chain doesn't count)

- online entries only however you must present Auscycle licence to registration at least 30min prior to your scheduled race start time. 

- race start times may vary by up to 10min: therefore attendance at the starting pit area for commissaire briefing is required 15min prior to scheduled start time

- First Aid is adjacent to registration

- Registration/Sign-on is located centre of the Criterium Track on Back Lane Junction Hill 

- allow time to negotiate road closures of Jacaranda Festival if travelling through Grafton

- presentations will happen immediately at the conclusion of each race and place getters must be present to claim their prize.

Note for Women:

Women will be riding in with the men, with First Woman prize money to win. Regarding grading, women should ride down a grade ie if you're graded Womens A, ride in the B Grade race. This is also why there is a Ladies Only D Grade race. 

Notes for Junior Races

9yrs and Under are allowed to have a parent/guardian ride with them. Children must be at least 5years of age to race and children and adults must have a current Auscycle licence to ride.
